This braid is from "Vikingatida klädedräkt. Snoddar och flätor" by Susanna Broomé (2017). She doesn't give any indication of colour(s), so I chose to make the braid plain, but you could experiment with two or three colours. Unlike everything else on these pages, this sample is made of wool as that's what Broomé says to use. Again, pay attention to taking the B loop reversed.

Written instructions Set the loops on A left and B left and B right.
- A right goes through B right and takes B left reversed.
- Move A left to B left.
- A left goes through B left and takes B right reversed.
- Move A right to B right.
As you can see, steps 3 & 4 are a mirror image of 1 & 2, that may help you to remember the sequence.
Next up: A Round Lace of 5 Loops. It is related to this one and the previous braid, but requires slightly more of your index fingers.
